Our Challenge

It is readily acknowledged and agreed, kids are growing up today in a challenging time. The pressure to compete is greater than ever. Heroin addiction is at an all-time high. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people between the ages of 16 - 24. Kids need help, and their needs are many. Money alone is not going to change our community. In addition to money, we need to invest time in the lives of kids within our city. We need to cast a vision to show them there are opportunities if they work hard and stay out of trouble. Opportunities will provide hope, and hope will changes lives.

Our Challenge

To cast a vision of hope for kids within the greater Toledo area by investing in their lives to build relationships that will allow us to have a positive influence on their future. We will provide opportunitites for young people to shadow potential career opportunities to assist them in figuring out what career fits their desires and skills, and we will do this one child at a time.

How will we help

We will unite like-minded, non-profit organizations, with proven track records of success, who currently offer similar services to kid's within Northwest Ohio's Public Schools.

We will also raise money and promote volunteerism to support these organizations to enable them to do more of what they are already doing well.
